Alfred J. Lakritz was a member of the California Bar for 49 years. A general practitioner, he served pro bono as a mediator and arbitrator on complex legal matters in LA Superior Courts and for the State Bar, always with an eye to solving cases. Al served on the Girl Scout Council of San Fernando Valley and was an officer of B’nai B’rith. Married to his college sweetheart Judy, he is the proud father of two children and the grandfather of four children. Born in Kiel, Germany, he survived the Holocaust and immigrated with his brother and his mother to the United States, and attended the University of California at Berkeley, both as an undergraduate and as a law student. Al and Judy live in Calabasas, California.
